1. In response to the FOIA Request for copies of documents from
September 1, 2004 to August 31, 2008, relating to the extradition of
a Polish citizen, Mariusz David Malyszczycki, Embassy Warsaw and
Consulate General Krakow searched their respective files and found
no such documents. The search took about four hours.
2. On December 31, 2009, the American Citizen Services Chief at
Embassy Warsaw learned from a Polish Prosecutor at the Ministry of
Justice, Piotr Radomski, that in 2008 Polish authorities had asked
U.S. authorities for judicial assistance relating to a criminal
offense committed by Mariusz David Malyszczycki, for which he was
wanted in the U.S. According to Radomski, Mariusz David
Malyszczycki was arrested in Zurich, Switzerland on October 12, 2008
(ref B) based on a U.S. all points letter of September 9, 2004.
