I am pleased to learn of the vigorous efforts in which your government has already engaged as an active member of the CD. The United States continues to believe that the CD will be most successful through projects and initiatives supported by a broad coalition of CD members. We look forward to your government's leadership on the Working Group for Promoting Democracy and Responding to National and Transnational Threats to Democracy.
