(SBU) We delivered reftel demarche to Georgi Georgiev, the
America's desk officer at the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign
Affairs on February 23. Georgiev gave no indication that
Bulgaria would change its October 2009 position (ref B) that
the Goldstone report should be dealt with in the Human Rights
Council. Post will relay any additional information
regarding the Bulgarian position on the Goldstone report as
it becomes available.
