1. (SBU) In response to a January 14 demarche by PolMinCouns
concerning high level Canadian participation at the Prague PRT
conference (ref a),Acting Director General Jamie Christoff of the
Afghanistan Task Force at the Department of Foreign Affairs and
International Trade confirmed that Jess Dutton, Director of the
Kandahar PRT and Sean Jorgensen, Political Advisor to Task Force
Kandahar, will represent Canada.
2. (SBU) Embassy separately continues to solicit Canadian views on
the transition to Afghan lead at the provincial level (ref c).
