1. (SBU) In response to Reftel, PolOff met on January 20
with Ministry of Foreign Affairs Secretary General Mohamed
Abdallahi Ould Khattra who stated Foreign Affairs Minister
Naha Mint Hamdi Ould Mouknass will head the Mauritanian
delegation to the African Union Summit. Mouknass is expected
to arrive in Addis Ababa on January 26 or 27. Khattra did
not have any more information regarding her accommodations or
contact information in Addis Ababa.
2. (SBU) Khattra said the Ministry has not yet decided on
the composition of the delegation. He offered to inform Post
as soon as he has more details.
