(SBU) P/E Chief shared translated points and joint communique (reftel) February 4 with MFA Secretary General Mahamat Moussa Dago, who was generally supportive of the U.S. efforts. Dago was focused on the continual natural disasters that befall Haiti. He noted that the GOC had contributed USD 500K to Haitian relief efforts and seemed a bit taken aback by Senegalese President Wade's offer of land and repatriation in Senegal for affected Haitians.
