SUBJECT: HUMAN RIGHTS REVIEW OF DOD-FUNDED TRAINING ACTIVITIES
1. (SBU) This is an action request for human rights
verification required by the Leahy Amendment; see paragraph 2.
2. (SBU) The Embassy requests the Department's assistance in
performing human rights vetting for:
AL-BULUSHI, HAMOOD SULAIMAN ABDULLAH (DOB 07-07-1973; Omani
passport#01888433) of the Royal AIR FORCE of Oman who intends to
travel to the United States on or about January 25 under the
International Military Education Training Program (IMET) Program
Fiscal Year 2010 for English Training at DLI in Lackland, TX and
EWO training in Randolph, TX on May 5. Embassy Muscat has found no
information of any kind that this individual has committed human
rights violations.
