(SBU) P/E COUNS contacted LCAA Director General Williams February
24 to inquire on the status of renewal of Delta Airline's operating
permit, as requested reftel. Williams replied that the original
renewal application that Delta submitted was incomplete as it did
not have documentation of insurance. He said that Delta
acknowledged the clerical error and submitted the documents on
February 22, and that he informed Delta on February 23 that the
application was now complete and he intended to approve the renewal
of the permit.
