On February 22 Econoff delivered reftel demarche to Luis
Sanchez-Vellisco, Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Jorge
Domecq, Director General of UN, Global Affairs and Human
Rights in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Sanchez-Vellisco
has overall responsibility for coordination of multilateral
development issues within UN agencies, including UNICEF while
Domecq has responsibility for Spanish responses to
nominations for positions within the UN system.
Sanchez-Vellisco said he appreciated the information and
would ensure that it was carefully reviewed.
