1. Malawi media reported on 25 January that the GOM intends
to donate 150 metric tons of rice to Haiti (ref A).
2. GOM Director of Information Chikumbutso Mtumodzi has
confirmed to post that the donation will go forward, but provided
no details. This is a change from the GOM's response to our
previous inquiry (ref B).
