1. Embassy delivered reftel demarche on distracted driving to the
Director General of the Economic Affairs Division and the Deputy
Director of the United Nations Division of the Sri Lankan Ministry
of Foreign Affairs, on February 22 and 23, 2010 respectively.
2. In follow-up conversations, the Ministry advised that they have
received the information and will give it due consideration.
Embassy will continue to follow up with the Ministry and will report
any additional response septel.
