Prior to receipt of reftel, mission had already confirmed with
the Director of the Climate Change Department at the Ministry of
Environment that Slovakia will associate itself with the
Copenhagen Accord and inscribe mitigation actions, most likely
as part of a combined EU effort. We will report septel on
Slovak perceptions of Copenhagen and the path forward for
climate change negotiations.
