Serbia's Environment Minister Oliver Dulic told the Charge on
January 20 that Serbia intended to associate itself with the
Copenhagen Accord prior to the January 31 deadline. Dulic said the
Government needed to adopt its report on the Copenhagen Summit and
then would quickly associate itself with the Accord. He said
Serbia intended to follow the EU's lead on climate change issues
and also hoped to play a constructive role on climate change within
the Balkans.
