In accordance with reftel, post contacted Pericles Elias KOROVESSIS (DPOB: 20-Jul-1941, Greece) (a/k/a Periklis Korovesis) to advise him he could not travel with the B1B2 visa issued into passport number XB0051604. Citing inconvenience and ill health, Korovessis declined to appear personally at the Embassy. He did, however, send his passport with his wife and CONOFF physically cancelled the visa on February 19, 2010. Mr. Korovessis was advised that he may reapply at any time. Post notes that the revoked visa issued to him originally in June 2008 had been issued following clearance of an SAO by the Department. ¶2.
