Ref email requested that post conduct five separate post-shipment verifications for numerous and various aircraft related parts and equipment to include: automatic pilots, navigational instruments and specifically to confirm the location of Indicator Integrated Standby Unit C16221AA02. The U.S. exporters for these shipments are Bombardier Aerospace, Des Plaines, IL and Honeywell International, Phoenix, AZ. The items were exported as NLR but classified under ECCN: 7A994. ¶2. On January 11, 2010, Export Control Officer met with Mr. Raymond D.O. De Silva, Material Manager, Abu Dhabi Aviation. Abu Dhabi Aviation is a full service (fixed wing and rotary) aviation support and maintenance company (www.adaviation.com). ECO has toured the facility in the past and the company has also been the subject of favorable State DDTC Blue Lantern checks. During this visit ECO physically confirmed the location of part C16221AA02 in the Abu Dhabi Aviation main stores warehouse. De Silva also readily provided ECO with relevant documentation for the other transactions as well. ¶3. Post considers Abu Dhabi Aviation to be a reliable recipient of US origin items for these transactions. OLSON
