SUBJECT: CROATIAN DELEGATION TO 2009 UNGA

(U) The Croatia delegation to the 64th UN General Assembly
(UNGA),small by comparison to past years, will be headed by
Croatian President Stjepan Mesic. The President will be
accompanied by his Special Advisor Budimir Loncar and his
Foreign Policy Advisor Tomislav Jakic. Also tentatively
planning on accompanying the Presdident will be Minister of
Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandrokovic,
MFA Chief of Cabinet Neven Mikec, MFA Spokesman Mario Dragun,
and the Director of the MFA Deparment for Multilateral
Affairs Mario Nobilo. Members of Croatia's mission in New
York will also be attending UNGA events. President Mesic
will not/not be accompanied by his wife.
