Econoff delivered reftel demarches to Tihomir Lulic, Head of
Section for Security Council Affairs at the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and European Integration. Lulic informed us
that Croatia has created a new interagency working group for
sanctions, money laundering, and terrorism finance issues,
which they hope will be a more effective coordinating
mechanism. Due to the summer holiday season, the working
group will not begin meeting until fall. Post will follow up
on its activities this fall as appropriate.
