1. (C) POLOFF delivered reftel points on June 9 to Marko
Horvat, Head of the NATO Department. Horvat said Croatia was
supportive of a NATO counter-piracy mission, especially since
maritime issues play an important role in the country.
Horvat noted that five Croatian sailors were participating in
ATALANTA, and that the GoC would also consider making a
contribution of personnel to Operation Ocean Shield.
