1. (C) Colonel Damir Terzic, Military Advisor to the Minister
of Defense, told post that if Mi-8 helicopters, an earlier
version of the Mi-17, would fill the Pakistani requirements,
a favorable response from Croatia might be possible.
2. (SBU) Action Request: Post requests guidance from
Washington if there is an interest in approaching the GoC
about the possibility of leasing or purchasing Mi-8
helicopters for use in Pakistan.
