We delivered reftel points on December 2 to Julius Rakitskis,
head of the MFA's Human Rights Division. He thanked us and
said Lithuania continues to share our concerns about
human-rights violations in Burma and the behavior of the
Burmese government. He said Lithuania and the rest of the
European Union will continue their strong support for
democratic reform in Burma. There was no further substantive
response.
