We delivered reftel points on August 13 to Julius Rakitskis,
head of the Human Rights Division of Lithuania's MFA. He
said that Lithuania was "absolutely" in agreement with the
strong statement made by the EU condemning the conviction of
Aung San Suu Kyi of Burma. He said the GOL had not yet made
any statement of its own about the situation, but promised to
pass along the reftel points to his superiors immediately.
