Austrian MFA Arms Control Director Alexander Marschik
confirmed to Econ/Pol Counselor Sept. 21 that Austria will
participate in the proposed informal and that the goals
proposed coordinated precisely with Vienna's own views. MFA
PolDir Stefan Lehne will represent Austria if his schedule
can be revised and, in that regard, Marschik asked that
potential dates/times be communicated to the Austrian Mission
in New York at the earliest opportunity.
