DESIGNATION OF DPRK ENTITIES SUBJET TO ASSET FREEZE

(SBU) On May 14 Charge' delivered reftel demarche on the UNSC
1718 Committee designation of the Democratic People's
Republic of Korea (DPRK) entities subject to asset freeze to
Alan Caruana, Chief of Staff to Malta's Minister of Finance,
and to Director General for Economic Affairs Charles Inguanez
at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 14. Inguanez, who
chairs Malta's Sanctions Committee, advised later the same
day that he had already passed the information to the
Committee staff for follow-up.
