1. USUN/HC received confirmation from both the Permanent
Mission of the Republic of Cameroon to the UN (CMUN) and
landlord Leonardo Lopane that the CMUN Perm Rep Tommo Monthe
paid Mr. Lopane in full for over 8 months of overdue rental
arrears and late fees for the CMUN's lease of 49 N.
Chatsworth Avenue, Larchmont NY. The house, which had been
occupied by Deputy Perm Rep Iya Tidjani and his family, has
been vacated and this matter, brought to USUN/HC's attention
in October 2008, is now resolved.
2. Thanks to all who worked to ensure this long-awaited
outcome.
