In response to reftel, USUN grants mission clearance to
Ambassador Timothy Carney and Barbara J. Smith, Senior
Democracy and Governance Field Advisor, USAID. Ambassador
Carney and Ms. Smith will meet with officials from UNDP,
DPKO, and UN Afghanistan officials on Thursday, March 19 to
discuss the upcoming Afghanistan elections. Their point of
contact and note taker will be Peter Kujawinski, Political
Adviser, USUN.
