1. Embassy delivered the diplomatic note and attachment as requested
in ref B to Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding case
EUR-J-5/2008 and received the following note back in reply:
The U.S. note and attachment for above case was given to MOFA in
final form on:
-EUR-J-5/2008: October 17, 2008
The corresponding GOJ note number for the case is:
-EUR-J-5/2008: 118/DNS-IN
2. The text of the GOJ note is exactly the same as previously used
standard text (ref A) except for the specification of number and
date above.
3. A certified copy of the U.S. note and attachment, and original of
the GOJ DNS-IN number, was pouched to the Department (ISN/NESS -
Robin DeLaBarre) on January 16, 2009 under registry no. 5723913.
