1. EMBASSY delivered diplomatic note and attachment contained in ref
B to Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding case 829 February
5, 2009 and received the GOJ note number 1416/DNS-IN in reply.
2. The text of the GOJ note is exactly the same as the previously
used standard text, ref A, except for the specification of number
and date above.
3. A certified copy of the U.S. note and attachment, and original of
the GOJ DNS-IN number, were pouched to the Department (ISN/NESS -
Robin DeLaBarre) on April 10, 2009 under registry no. 5723926.
