(U) After a reasonable but thorough review of organizations with official status, accreditation, or recognition from the United Nations University (UNU),post has not identified any which condone or promote pedophilia. The UNU moreover has an official policy of not granting any official status, accreditation, or recognition to any organization which promotes and condones or seeks the legalization of pedophilia or has subsidiaries or member organizations that do. ¶2. (U) The investigation was undertaken by means of direct conversations with the UNU in Tokyo which reiterated the UNU's official policy of non-support; by examining known pedophilia support organizations to see if any had UNU ties (none were discovered); and by examining the publicly available information for unknown UNU-connected organizations to determine any support for pedophilia (none was discovered). A list of UNU affiliated organizations has been sent separately to IO/HR. ¶3. (U) Total amount of staff time spent: approximately 5 hours (FO-04 level). ¶4.
