1. Embassy delivered diplomatic note and attachment contained in
ref B to Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding case 854
October 20, 2009 and received the GOJ note number 4665/DNS-IN in
reply.
2. The text of the GOJ note is exactly the same as the previously
used standard text, ref A, except for the specification of number
and date above.
3. A certified copy of the U.S. note and attachment, and original
of the GOJ DNS-IN document, were pouched to the Department (ISN/NESS
- Robin DeLaBarre) December 11, 2009 under registry no. 5723937.
