(C) Embassy political officer delivered reftel demarche to
MOFA Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs Division Deputy
Director Seitoku Kawakami. Kawakami reaffirmed Japan's
continuing stance in support of the country-specific human
rights resolutions, including voting 'no' on the no-action
resolutions. He added that Japan was actively lobbying in
particular for passage of the country-specific resolution on
the DPRK.
