official Mizuyo Kuwako August 3. Kuwako was aware of the
Missile Technology Control Regime Information Exchange call
for papers. She said her office is coordinating with
relevant ministries and regional bureaus, including the
Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Economy, Trade and
Industry to develop a presentation for the November MTCR
plenary in Brazil. She agreed that North Korean procurement
would be a useful topic. Kuwako said she expects the GOJ
will notify MTCR members of the content of its presentation
through the ePOC database sometime in September.
