Director Miyako Ishimura on June 30 and explained the delay
between our pre-notification in January and our formal
submission in June to the UNSC 1267 Committee for designation
of Arif Qasmani, Muhammed Yahya Mujahid, and Fazeel-A-Tul
Shaykh Abu Mohammed Ameen al-Peshawari as terrorist sponsors.
Ishimura said that she understood the delay and appreciated
the U.S. commitment to providing such notifications.
