(S) On January 16, Econoff shared with the Dutch Foreign
Ministry's Terrorism/New Threats Unit and the Finance
Ministry's Integrity Division points concerning U.S. plans to
submit the names of five Pakistanis (ref A) and four Al-Qaida
associates (ref B) to the UNSC 1267 Sanctions Committee. In
a follow-up January 22 meeting, the Foreign Ministry's
terrorism finance coordinator Wendela Haringuizen said the
GONL appreciated the pre-notification and would take
appropriate action. She said she had shared the identifying
and background information with the Dutch Intelligence and
Security Services (AIVD).
