1. (S/NF) On May 13, Econoff shared with the Dutch Foreign
Ministry's Terrorism/New Threats Unit and the Finance
Ministry's Integrity Division reftel points concerning the
UNSC 1718 Sanctions Committee designation of DPRK entities.
The Foreign Ministry's terrorism finance coordinator Wendela
Haringuizen said the Government of the Netherlands (GONL)
would investigate whether these entities have any assets in
the country and implement the asset freeze. She added the
GONL would take particular care to ensure Tanchon Commerical
Bank did not maintain correspondent relationships with Dutch
financial institutions.
