(U) Per reftel, embassy officer delivered information on the
U.S. position regarding the General Assembly debate on
November 4 on the Report of the UN Fact-Finding Mission on
the Gaza Conflict (The Goldstone Report) to the Deputy
Director of the Department of International Organizations.
GOG reaction was favorable to the U.S. position; GOG
officials said they would take the U.S. position into account
when the resolution is presented.
