(U) On October 1, Post delivered reftel demarche describing
the existence of a covert uranium enrichment facility near
Qom, Iran, to Levan Khurtsidze, Georgian Ministry of Foreign
Affairs, Department of the Americas. Khurtsidze expressed
appreciation for the information and promised to move it
forward to the appropriate people in the Georgian Government.
