On February 27th, 2009, Post conveyed ref information requesting
that the Uzbek government support the candidacy of Judge Mark
Painter during the upcoming elections in the U.N. Appeals Tribunal
via dipnote. Despite multiple attempts, Post was unable to garner
a response from the Uzbeks, but will provide any substantive
response separately.
