2. (U) Post requests that Department conduct a human rights review
and Leahy vetting for two Government of Uzbekistan officials
scheduled to participate in the Senior Executive Seminar (SES 09-9)
at the George C. Marshall Center in Garmisch, Germany September
6-19, 2009. Post is in the process of reviewing its files for any
credible information of violations of human rights by any of the
listed participants. Department's response is requested by COB
