TRAINING
1. (U) This is an action request. Please see paragraph 2.
2. (U) Post requests that Department conduct a human rights review
and Leahy vetting for three Government of Uzbekistan officials
scheduled to participate in the Program in Advanced Security
Studies (PASS 09-5) at the Marshall Center in Garmisch, Germany
from March 27 - June 19, 2009. Post has no credible information of
violations of human rights by any of the listed participants.
Department's response is requested by February 11, 2009.
