(C) In response to ref email, the Mission is authorized to
engage the Moroccan delegation to express U.S. support for
Morocco's candidacy for an Africa Group Board seat. UNVIE
also should enlist Morocco's support in promoting U.S.-Arab
dialogue and helping to resolve the disposition of the Arab
League Israel Nuclear Capabilities (INC) resolution. In the
event that the Moroccan bid fails, UNVIE is authorized to
vote in the following priority order: (2nd choice) Cameroon;
(3rd choice) Libya. Department requests that Mission report
substantive responses and developments to IO/GS.
