This is an Action Request. See paragraphs 2 - 4. ¶2. The Department's Office of Defense Trade Controls Compliance (PM/DTCC) requests Post's assistance in conducting a post-license/pre-shipment check on license 050132068 for the export of pistols to Peru. Post is requested to complete this Blue Lantern check within 30 days. Lack of response to a Blue Lantern check will affect pending and future licenses involving parties to this license. ¶3. Reason for Request: Neither end-user Armeria Eagles nor foreign intermediate consignee Logivin Air & Ocean Peru S.A. have been subject to a Blue Lantern end-use monitoring check. This request is for Post to establish the bona fides of both companies. ¶4. Action Request: Post is requested to establish the bona fides of end-user Armeria Eagles and foreign intermediate consignee Logivin Air & Ocean Peru S.A. by making inquiries to representatives of the companies and appropriate authorities of the Government of Peru. Who are your regular customers and where do they reside? --What are your annual sales of U.S.-origin firearms or other U.S.-origin defense articles? --Are you familiar with the regulations governing the import of U.S.-origin defense articles, including restrictions on re-transfer or re-export? (To Logivin Air & Ocean Peru S.A.) --When was your company established and who are its principals? --What products and services does your company provide? Who are your regular customers and where do they reside? --What is your role in this transaction? Will you ever have possession of the defense articles listed below? --Are you familiar with the regulations governing the import of U.S.-origin defense articles, including restrictions on re-transfer or re-export? (To Peruvian Export/Import Authorities) --Is Armeria Eagles properly authorized to import and sell defense articles in Peru? --Do you have any information on Armeria Eagles that would question their reliability as a recipient of U.S. defense articles? --Is Logivin Air & Ocean Peru S.A. properly authorized to import defense articles in Peru? --Do you have any information on Logivin Air & Ocean Peru S.A. that would question their reliability as a recipient of U.S. defense articles?
