(U) Begin text of letter: Dear Mr. Minister: Thank you for your June 22 letter regarding the upcoming elections in May 2010 for the position of Secretary General of the Organization of American States. Please be assured that the United States will give careful consideration to Mr. Insulza's candidacy for re- election in light of his record as Secretary General.
