Steve,
It was good seeing you and GOJ officials on June 14. Your
outstanding mission has exceeded our expectations again.
Thank you, and thanks to your all star team, for ensuring my
visit was as efficient and productive as possible. I
especially would like to thank my control officer (and fellow
Embassy Beirut graduate!) Jackie Ward, Press Attache Maria
Olson, and your entire GSO and RSO sections. I know they
reflect the quality and the depth of the entire mission, so
again I would like to reiterate my thanks for a job well done
by all.
Embassy Amman time and again sets the highest standard in
NEA. I continue to be impressed with your ability to support
a daunting number of visits like mine, and the many
congressional and other delegations who visit, while
maintaining such a high level of engagement with the GOJ on
our highest priority issues.
