Kudos to Embassy Bangui for recent reporting on CAR's
declining state despite its abundance of natural resources.
The CARG's goals of personal wealth aggrandizement and regime
survival do not coincide with USG goals of a stable,
developing state in Central Africa. The excellent reporting
on the relationship between Bozize and the French from
Bozize's perspective and that of the French is intriguing.
Washington always welcomes Bangui's reporting on pressing
issues in CAR.
