Steve,

Thank you for the exceptional support the mission provided
during my recent visit. From the front office to the
motorpool, it's clear your team is one of our best. I would
like to especially thank my control officer Hanan Cohen who
oversaw all details with patience and professionalism. Phil
Frayne ensured our public affairs strategy was on target,
while Raj Wadhwani stepped in to meet some last-minute needs.
Your GSO and RSO teams executed every logistical and
security detail with precision. Last but certainly not
least, thanks to you and to DCM Larry Mandel for your local
policy guidance and leadership in ensuring the visit met our
strategic objectives.

I know most Congressional and Administration visitors to the
region stop in Jordan, which keeps the entire mission very
busy and takes a toll on your resources. Your team's efforts
help Washington decision makers gain valuable context, which
results in a better understanding of the strategic importance
of the bilateral relationship, and better policy. I expect
the heavy visits load will continue, and I want to assure the
mission that all of us in Washington stand by ready to
support you.
