2. The Department's Office of Defense Trade Controls
Compliance (PM/DTCC)
requests Post's assistance in conducting a post-shipment
end-use check on
license number 050099712 for the export of defense hardware
to Pakistan.
Post is requested to complete this Blue Lantern inquiry
within 45 days.
Lack of response to a Blue Lantern inquiry will affect
pending and future
licenses involving parties to this license.
3. Reason for Request: To confirm the bona fides of this
transaction.
4. Action Islamabad: Department requests that Post make
inquiries to
determine whether or not the Government of Pakistan, Ministry
of Defence
Production, Kamra Avionics & Radar Factory received all of
the United
States Munitions List (USML) items for the purpose stated on
the license.

Multiline Services (UK) for delivery to the Kamra Avionics
& Radar Factory, Ministry of Defence Production for
end use by the Government of Pakistan. The TPS-43 Radar is a
tactical, ground-based, long-range search and warning radar
with a 200 mile range.
