UN ON 607 AGREEMENT FOR AMISOM
1. Mission clearance is requested for IO Bureau, Office of
Peacekeeping, Sanctions, and Counterterrorism officer Tanaz
Khambatta, L Bureau, Attorney Adviser Christina Sanford, and
Africa Bureau, Office of Regional Security Affairs contractor
Chris Tringale, Senior Contract Analyst Jimmy Savino and
Military Advisor Mike Skardon. The individuals listed above
currently serve at the State Department in Washington, and
are requesting mission clearance on Wednesday February 18,
2009 to assist USUN in technical negotiations with the UN on
a 607 agreement for the African Union Mission in Somalia
(AMISOM).
2. USUN point of contact is John Senior 212-415-4190.
Request mission assistance in arranging for UN badges for
Tanaz Khambatta, Christina Sanford, Chris Tringale, Jimmy
Savino, and Mike Skardon. No other mission assistance is
required at this time. POC for this trip is Tanaz Khambatta,
Office of Peacekeeping, Sanctions, and Counterterrorism, tel:
