1. (U) This cable responds to the action request in
reftel requesting human rights vetting for the candidates
nominated to attend the George C. Marshall Center (GCMC)
Security Studies Language Program (SSLP) and Program in
Advanced Security Studies (PASS) 10-5, scheduled for February
23 - June 18, 2010 at Garmisch, Germany.
2. (U) The Department of State has vetted the
individuals listed in reftel and possesses no credible
derogatory information as of 12/23/2009. Post is
authorized to include the following individuals in
USG-funded training:
(1) NAME: Branimir Stanimirovic
D/POB: November 21, 1974, Krusevac, Serbia
GENDER: Male
TITLE: Captain, Section for Cooperation with Other Security
and
Intelligence Services and Protection Directorate Staff
ORGANIZATION: Ministry of Interior
NATIONALITY: Serbian
(2) NAME: Stevan Stojadinovic
D/POB: July 10, 1979, Bor, Serbia
GENDER: Male
TITLE: Security Officer, Unit of Close Protection

4. (U) Note that if Post subsequently becomes aware of
possible human rights violations by the individuals
listed above, Post should inform the Department and not
proceed with training. Post should refer to the Leahy
Vetting guidance manual for additional assistance.
