1. (U) ACTION REQUEST FOR GENEVA: This cable is an action
request for Mission Geneva to share U.S. views and suggested
questions and recommendations (sent REF) for the upcoming UN.
Human Rights Council's (HRC) Sixth Universal Periodic Review
(UPR) Session, to be held November 30 - December 11, 2009.
The HRC's Sixth UPR session will include a review of the
human rights records of 16 countries. Please see REF for
fully cleared and approved text, which was too long to
include in a cable. Department thanks Mission Geneva for its
attention to this matter.
