The Department's Office of Defense Trade Controls Compliance (PM/DTCC) requests Post's assistance in conducting a pre-license check on application 050198209 for the export of a United States Munitions List (USML)-controlled Transponder/Interrogator Test Set to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Post is requested to complete this Blue Lantern inquiry within 30 days. Lack of response to a Blue Lantern inquiry will affect pending and future licenses involving parties to this license. ¶3. Reason for request: To substantiate the bona fides of the proposed transaction; no documentation submitted by the end-user whose address is different from that listed on previous applications. ¶4. Action: Department requests that Post inquire within the Government of the UAE to confirm that the G.H.Q. Armed Forces Logistics Staff, Department of General Purchasing placed an order for the item listed below for the purpose stated on the application.
